My supervisor came back yesterday after a short break that included the ALA conference. After reading many blog posts and articles about the conference I was super jealous and excited to talk about all that she saw and learned. After talking about some amazing sessions she attended she headed back to her office and I began work on fall storytimes (is it seriously July already). HOWEVER on her way to dinner she snuck a book on my desk. Knowing my love for all things YA she brought back an ARC of Rose Under Fire. Happy dance! I truly wish there were more hours in this day.

What book are you patiently waiting to read?

What a refreshing find! I might not necessarily use this book for storytime but would be a wonderful one-on-one read. This book addresses fear in a relatable way. I must admit I read this book on a day that I just need a story to inspire - Hugo reminded me to try again.
